I’m working on a real post, but in the interim I thought I’d link to this excellent summary from Tanya Mann of CRA.

Of all the scenarios where the phone might be preferable to email, the first is perhaps the most important:

“1. When you need to convey or discern emotion.”

This rings true for both corporate and personal communications.
